Corn Bread 

1 c plain flour 
1 c corn meal 
1/4 c sugar 
1 tbsp baking powder 
1/2 tsp salt 
1 c buttermilk 
1/4 c vegetable oil 
2 eggs, slightly beaten 


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In medium bowl mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. 

Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened. Pour into greased 9" sq. baking pan. 

Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
