Cavatini 1 pound cooked rotini or spiral noodles of some kind 1 pound ground meat 1 pound pepperoni 1 cup chopped onion 1 tsp garlic powder 2 quarts spaghetti sauce 1 9x13 baking pan Fry onions and meat together until mean is brown. Add garlic powder and pepperoni. Continue to cook until pepperoni is heated. Take off heat. Pour a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in bottom of baking dish. add half the rotini; then half the meat mixture; add another thin layer of sauce then the rest of the noodles and the meat. Use the last of the sauce on top of the last layer. Sprinkle with
Romano cheese if you wish. I use a garlic, chives, and Romano cheese mixture that I get from Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. |
