Hot Smokey Chicken Wings

2 cups / 500 ml Ketchup
1/2 cup / 125 ml Brown sugar
1 tbsp /15 ml Worcestershire sauce
1 med Onion
6 slices Bacon
2 tbsp / 30 ml Chili pepper
4 tbsp / 60 ml Vinegar
1/4 lb / 125 g Butter
1 tsp / 5 ml Salt
½ tsp / 2.5 ml Pepper
32 Chicken wings (medium size)

Finely chop bacon and onion then brown in a medium frying pan for 3-4 minutes. In a sauce pan melt butter and add ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, vinegar, hot chili peppers. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add bacon and onions. Deep fry chicken wings at 350°F. In a mixing bowl toss wings and sauce.
